OK;

What type or types of malfunctions/problems have been experienced with the hammer block "safety" on the No 3s?

My hammer block failed. It prevented the gun from firing reliably. I removed it, and the problem went away. There was a notch worn in the safety that prevented the hammer falling all the way.

Interesting.  I have no interest in removing safety features from any weapon just for the sake of removing them.  But failures such as you describe are not acceptable.  Seems to make sense to remove the safety before I experience a problem such as yours.  Thanks
