Got A New Old Shotgun
« on: February 03, 2014, 01:38:59 PM »
I walked into Hill Rod and Gun yesterday to see what Charlie had gotten in since his new shipment just arrived. I always like to look at his hammer guns and he had 2 beauties, a Cogswell and Harrison sidelever and a George Daw underlever round body, back action. I was very fond of the look and feel of the round body and bought it. What a nice shotgun...

I never considered myself a failure...I started out at the bottom and happen to like it here!

That is as fine looking a hammer gun as you will see.  Nice job mate.

That is a real beauty  .  It would make a fine Turkey gun ? At least you would have the prettiest shotgun .

Very, very nice indeed . . . .  :)
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

I agree it's pretty, but there's no such a thing as too pretty a gun to shoot.
