Where to find a standard lever for a Rossi 92
« on: January 03, 2014, 05:18:39 PM »
A couple of days ago I picked up a trapper-length carbine - everything I want in a lever gun, more or less, except it came with a oversized loop.  I'm admittedly not crazy about the look, and having played with it somewhat I've decided I'm not a fan.

I haven't had much luck finding a source for replacement parts.  Calling the outfit that does warranty work is an option, but I've also heard that customer service can be hit or miss so I'm leaving that until I find out whether I can handle this otherwise.

Anybody know where I could find one?  Or possibly trade if somebody out there's looking to convert theirs the other way?

This used to be a good source, and I have heard of him being mentioned recently, but my contact info is quite old so I don't know if it is still good:

Much appreciated.  I'll email him and see what turns up.

Looks like he'll be it if he's got one.  The email address for M&M comes back dead.

A google search on the phone number I listed shows it still belonging to M&M Gunsmithing, so that still may be an option if Nate doesn't have one.
