Uberti 1 of 1,000

Well, my VG/Exc Uberti '73 "1 of 1,000" is back on the block. The guy that was going to swap his 'race ready' saddle ring carbine for it decided he wanted the carbine more.

I thought that the 1 of 1,000 was just too damn pretty to put through the abuse of an active CAS rifle, but maybe that's what's gonna happen.

I'm in Kanuckistan, so the amount of red tape and governmental approval would preclude shipping it to the US. First, you need a note from your mother, a thumb print from God and need to go through both a Kanuck and US dealer, both of whom are going to require payment for their services.

T'ain't worth it. I'm gonna keep it and beat the hell out of it like it was any other Uberti '73, just one duded up in Sunday-go-to-meeting clothes. Kind'a like puttin' lipstick on a pig - it's still a pig.
