I recognized Dan Duryea, Tom Tryon & John Saxon , it was a made for TV movie.
Duryea died just 1 year later  :(

Looks like a short stroke action in the clip.

I think that's where the whole short stroke thing got it's start - in Hollywood movies. How many times did we see Jack Elam and other bad azzes give their Winchesters that little flick of the wrist to ready their rifles?
