CAUTION: When sharpening a knife

Felt a sting and bled all over the kitchen.

You'd think I'd have learned.  I do this about every ten years or so just to prove I'm really not perfect....in spite of appearances.

I could find a way to cut myself with that, too.

My first razor was an olive drab plastic G. I. safety razor that I paid a dime for at the war surplus store up the road from our house. 

I was ten years old and Mom and Dad wouldn't let me have any blades for it.
