Loading lever leverage from Slix shot. Made of aluminum. About $15.

PS. I know I don't need it with the Kirst converter. heh.

I bought a 6" long 3/8-NPT brass pipe nipple at Lowes for about$5 - accomplishes the same thing.

It is unnecessary on a 7 1/2 or 8 inch barreled gun.  It's primary use is for those C&B's with short barrels as these guns also have short loading levers and it is more difficult to seat a ball with a short lever.  If a shooter can't seat a ball with the long lever on a long barreled gun, putting the extension on will likely result in a bent lever.

A 6 inch piece of 1/2 inch dia Tygon tubing for free works just as good - if not better.

I have other guns with shorter barrels. Also the Slixshot unit has a slot cut down the length of it which allows it to slip on over the web portion of the load lever so you don't just pressure the weak end of the lever. Don't know if I will use it much but Ive had a wrist reconstruction and arthritis in both hands. If I need it to not stress the hands, I'll use it. So far with the 1860 and .454" balls, not necessary at all. With the shorter gun, maybe.
