Memorial day Movies

Watching now one of the very finest:  Sergeant York with Gary Cooper.  Country, if not Western.  If you've not seen it, you owe it to yourself to watch this fine old film.

Cheers,

Bob

I thought that the protrayal of Sgt. York was just a little bit corney. That part about goggling like a turkey to get the German soldier to stick his head up was just a bit too much for me. However, the movie in no way took away from the heroism and bravery of This great warrior.

As far as Memorial Day movies go, I'll take "The Longest Day" or "To Hell and Back" or maybe "From Here to Eternity".
I will no longer respond to the rants of the small minded that want to sling mud rather than discuss in an adult manner.
