Is my sack coat historically correct?

After reading the other thread about making old time sack coats out of modern sports jackets, I got to rummaging round my closet and pulled out an old lamb-hide suede jacket I found in there.

It has all the attributes of the old sack coat, but has raglan sleeves.

Four buttons, small collar with somewhat rounded points, no slit, one button at the cuffs, all of which I understand were attributes of the old coats.

But, do the raglan sleeves kill it as far as being correct for the 19th century or were they used at all back then?

The design is credited to Lord Raglan who passed in 1852.
He had lost his right arm ( amputated ) at Waterloo and had previously had many saber wounds to his left shoulder.

Many thanks for the info Major, I'm continually amazed at the level of knowledge some guys have. Sounds like, in theory anyway, I'd be ok with the coat. It certainly has an old-time look to it.
