N-SSA in Nor-Cal?

Hi Y'all.  Just wonderin' if anyone knows of any N-SSA clubs or events in the the area of Shasta county.  I'm interested in seeing some skirmishes or something of the sort, but can't find anything on the N-SSA website for Californee at all.

To my knowledge there are no units of the N-SSA in CA. There might be some individuals, that winter over in CA tho. I am in Wisconsin, and we here are, on the western fringes of the membership, as is Texas with a few members.

At  one time 20 + yrs ago there was  the CWSA (Civil War Skirmish Association), and they were headquatered in CA. I don't know if they are still around. You might try Googling them , or CW organizations in CA.

The N-SSA does not allow indivual membership, you must belong to  a full fledged unit.

The N-SSA and CWSA use to have an open door policy between each organization for visiting members to compete.
I have not kept up with what the CWSA has been doing for probably 35 years.
I have seen mentioned the ACWSA (American Civil War Skirmish Association) or perhaps its ACWA (American Civil War Association).
I believe they are located primarily in the Northern Pacific States. (Northern CA, Oregon and Washington State.)
