Snowed In

Snow is halfway up the windows and doors. Will take the wife most of the day to shovel us out.
Car is buried completely and truck has snow up to middle of doors. Snow drifts as high as 6 feet in some places.
CT has shut down all roads except for emergency vehicles.

Now there is the bright side - since the roads are shut down, the wife won't need to dig the car and truck out.

When I was still in Ohio . . .  ( long, long ago in the late 60s and early '70s ) . . . I really enjoyed a good heavy blizzard once in a while.

I am only 10 minutes southwest of Hartford, CT. There is a car on the right of the truck that is completely under the snow and you can just see the rear window on our Jeep in front of the car.

Wife got enough of driveway done to get truck out. But road hasn't been plowed yet and there's 3 foot of snow in the road. I am sure there are higher drifts down the road also. Wind blows across the lake and right over the road.
