Howdy Folks,
I can add further credence to Hedley's statements. I know the same feller and actually handled the early production prototype. The gun was like the finest Colt or USFA after it had been completely tuned by the best SA gunsmith. It's really too bad that it didn't make it to market. Even given a rather high price, it was fair since no extra trip to a tuner was required. Add the cost of a good SA to the price of atop of the line tune up and the Texican price was about right.
