Well, I think I have a solution to my banquet gown problem. I'm gonna do it the way they did it back then. I think it will be the black gown that most folks can see in my profile, but with a different corset and hat.

I don't like that it shows a lot of cleavage, but it's too late to get another gown and wearing a high necked shirt under it looks really dorky. (Yes, I tried.)

Buck, the kilt was supposed to be a "hostess" kilt meant for formal wear. It was supposed to be so long the hem would brush my ankle. It doesn't. The hem is at my calf and it doesn't have the deep pleats for fullness that I ordered. I ordered the kilt, sash, and shirt back in the beginning of June and was given a 6-8 week delivery time. I even called to nag them and was told everything would be here yesterday. The kilt was the only thing that showed up.

Thus the flailing.

Annie, can I borrow EL Kabong?  You see my friend got me hooked thie series books.  Now instead of reading CAS City, I've been reading.  (Yes Del, I can read.  There are are no illustrations in these books.)  Anyway, Lookie at all the fun I've been missing.

Marshalette, I'm jealous of the emoticons you get to use.  Must be nice having and "in" with the Boss. ;)

Looks like I am gonna miss the side matches, but that's ok,

And just for Forty Rod's vicarious thrill for today: I'll be wearing a green skirt, peach coloured underdress, peach coloured corset and a palm leaf hat decorated with peach coloured feathers.

Somebody try and get hold of Trinity, please? I'm a little worried.

I may be able to check in with the laptop, so my green light might come on.

I won't bother to ask you to behave.
