Norinco 1897 with a 30 in. Barrel?
« on: October 26, 2012, 09:28:08 PM »
Does anyone know if they made an 1897 with a 30" barrel
A guy has one for sale, he says its a Norinco, but has no import marks.
He says he's had it for about 9 years, only shot about 10 rounds through it and its been in his safe since. Anyone have advice?
If it is a norinco are there shorter replacement barrels available.

Thanks in advance for your input
Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!

Use it with the barrel uncut.  You will slam those knock-downs so hard that they will bounce right back up!

They never made the Norincos with 30 inch barrels.  They did make a few with 26" barrels.  (I had one.  They are very scarce.)
