Joe Berger Memorial aka NCOWS SW Regional
« on: October 24, 2012, 12:13:09 PM »
We had a great NCOWS regional match this past week end.  A few of the folks shot TAPS approved weapons.  There were a few Henry's and 1860 Army's in attendance.

I put up my wall tent for the first time in 16 years.  It got up but it was not pretty.  I am pretty sure I was doing the work of three people--Curly, Larry, and Moe.

Joe, I've had those gents help me out more than once over the years. Eventually I can look back and laugh about it, but at the time -- not so much. Glad to hear the match went so well.

But at least when those three show up I have my other three friends Johnny, Jack and "hot" Joe to always help me find the humor later ;D

At the banquet CPT "Mac" McLean showed up with a bottle of Sam Houston whiskey.  Sam Houston is produced by some mini distillary in East Texas.  it was quite nice and helped remove the aches and pains.
