Parts dealer, CowboyArms?
« on: December 26, 2005, 10:09:22 PM »
I'm looking for info on an outfit selling parts for CAS, they have a website CowboyArms.com. I need a couple items.

I tried ordering some stuff, but it did not go through, and there is no reply to emails, and there is no address or phone no. on the site.  On the homepage,  it says Bill Spetz of Cincinnati owns the business.  I tried a search for the address and phone number,  but can find nothing except the website.

Anyone have any other contact info?  Are they still in business?

Thanks,
Daybreak Dave

That's the first I have heard of this site. Looks as if he is a an-ti-que dealer...I don't know what kind of parts you need but if you haven't already try Brownells or a Gun Show.

His listings are for reproduction parts.  I needed a couple screws, but the main thing I wanted was the book pictured on his homepage, The Winchester Model 94 by Renneberg.  I've been looking for a reasonable priced copy of the book, and he lists them new.  I am guessing the site is not updated and running, but maybe I am wrong.  It seems odd there is no address or phone contact listed.
