Thinking about buying a pair of Smoke Wagons,45LC w/4&3/4" barrels, but have a question. I'm pretty sure they will fit my current rig, which was built for Ruger Blackhawks, also in 45LC with the 4 & 5/8" barrels. But I really don't want them falling around loose, nor too tight in the holsters. Anyone have any idea what I might expect. Buying the pair of revolvers, sorta negates new holsters, at least till the piggy bank fills back up.

Barrel length is not an issue, we're only talking 1/8" difference, and my rig was mistakenly built for 5&1/2" barrels....I guess I was blessed with room to grow...LOL

Has anyone ever substituted a non adjustable site framed pistol, into a holster originally sized for adjustable sites?

BTW, great site here, I see a lot of familiar names from the SASS site, and would just like to thank everyone in advance for any help you can through to an ole phart... Grin
