Question
« on: June 27, 2012, 10:37:23 AM »
Sorry, I know this is the '73 forum, but this question is closely related.

Does anyone know where I can get a reproduction of the 1866 model buttstock with the cutout for the cleaning rod?

Thanks for any help!

CK.

Calico, I have never seen one offered, though a call to VTI would let you know if it exists.  I am wondering if a Henry buttstock would fit a '66?  Additionally, would a Henry crescent buttplate fit a '66?  If so, just buy one of those and drill a hole in your '66 stock.

Thanks for the replies, guys.  Does anyone know if the Uberti stock will fit on the original Winchester?  Thanks again for all the help!

There is a man named Buckingham who works out of Kentucky that usually has lots of parts.  He may have the butt stock you are looking for.
