Amazing Customer Service - TruXedo (no CAS content)

I just got to tell you about some amazing customer service I received today!

Four years and six months ago I bought a Truxedo tourneau cover for my Pick-Up truck. Being out in the sun, the thread that holds the edging started to come undone. It's not leaking and still functions fine, but it doesn't look too good.

So I look up Truxedo ( truxedo.com  ) on the internet and I see these covers have a 5 year warrantee. They stamp the date of manufacture on the inside of the cover. I sent an email to Truxedo with my plight and the date stamp (06-02-08)

In five minutes they sent me an email asking me where to send a brand new replacement cover. No BS about sending in a sales receipt. No BS about proving I'm the original owner. No nonsense. Just "We're sorry, here's a new one"

Good you got good service, but what I find sad is what should be regular customer service is considered great in the modern world.
