RE:  S&W "Performance Center" Schofield revolver (model of 2000)

Do the grips for this revolver exchange with Uberti Schofield?

Does anyone know a gripmaker who is offering custom grips for the "modern" S&W Schofield?  (Looking for something nice like Ivory or real MOP).

No - you'll either have to try the secondary market for factory grips, or have them made, since S&W didn't keep spares.

I have a set of Outlaw Grips on my  Uberti New Model #3 and I believe they could fix you up with whatever you wanted. The wensite www.outlawgrios.com states "Over forty hardwoods & burls, giraffe bone, and elephant ivory are available" My grips are just a plain grain walnut with a nice fit and they feel good in the hand. If nothing else the website has a lot of pretty gun pictures.

Did a little grip swappin' this weekend.

In case anyone needs to know:  The Uberti Schofield grip frame is about 1/8" taller than the S&W PC Schofield, thus the Uberti grips need very extensive fitting to place them on an S&W frame.
