I just recently picked up this Cimarron Uberti Flat Top Target Bisley in 44-40.  This is my 1st Uberti SAA clone, and even though it's a little older (1998 vintage) I'm impressed with the quality of fit and finish.

Best regards,

My opinion is free, and worth every penny of it.

Gorgeous!  I've always loved that charcoal blue finish, but have shied away from it because I have heard it is not very durable, even though that in itself makes such a reproduction more "historically correct.  What is your experience?

Grant:  What the importers and Uberti call "charcoal blue" really isn't, it is nitre blue that they dip in molten potassium nitrate.  That is why it is very fragile and looks so neon blue.

My Navy Arms 45 LC started life as a new blued gun.  I sent it to a gunsmith in Arizona for an action job and antiquing.   He did an awesome job.  In person the gun looks 100+ years old.

That’s a great collection, txchuckcook, and as always your photographs are amazing. You have a great eye for composition.

I'm not sure what process he used.  I'm 100% happy with his work.  Well worth the money.   His website is classicsingleaction.com

Yep, already been there! I shot him an email about fixing the POI on my USFA. He says he's out of commission until November, but we'll see what he says.
