Which ones do you have?

I have a Pietta in .44-40 with a 7 ½ inch barrel. The top of the barrel is marked,
“ GREAT WESTERN II “.
I have been shooting a load of 33 grains of FFg and a 200 grain bullet in both the revolver and my 2 rifles.

Uberti 32-20 old model with bullseye ejector rod head and black powder cylinder pin screw.

In finish, fit, operation, lockup, trigger pull it is better than my 45LC Ruger Blackhawk.

And the Blackhawk is an excellent.

I do recommend it, It also say Dixie on the barrel, I bought it from them.

5 of my pistols are cap and balls, and my one long cartridge revolver is a Uberti Hombre in .357, which shoots excellently for me right out of the box. It has also become my wifes favorite pistol, so if I want much time with it, I will probably have to buy another one, lol!

Here is one of my favorite cartridge revolvers.

This is another favorite, an ASM Richards.



When I got it, the internals were so soft, I replaced everything.  Then the hammer went south and I needed to replace it.  Couldn't find one so used one from an 1860 instead, figured that was the way it was done when the Richards was a new firearm.  It has worked well for me for nearly a decade.

Also have or had many C&B revolvers, mostly Uberti, but some of the other brands have come and gone.

1. Uberti Cattleman .45 with 5.5 in. barrel. Refinished in beautiful gun metal grey and 'hand of God" custom grips.

2. Uberti Model P / Cimarron 5.5 in. barrel Old Model ( black powder frame with bullseye ejector knob and screw for the cylinder pin instead of the "button" type. Just as it appeared when they came out in 1873. Case hardened frame with very black bluing.

3. Beretta Stampede Inox stainless steel .45 with 5.5 barrel. Very accurate out of the box.

I am looking for another 45 colt type, but I am waiting to see if USFA will ever make the Rodeo again or any revolver for that matter. Thought about the Vaquero, but they just don't feel right to me.
