I just bought one, Ser # says made in 1892-93. I'll be shooting BP only and my question is about lube. I make lube pills out of beeswax, parraffin and tallow, these work well in my handguns and I've put this mixture in the bullet (32-20) grease-ring for the rifle. It's a typical small grease ring (not DD type) so I'm wondering if that's enough lube or should I put a pill in the shell before seating the bullet....naturally leaving enough space for good, not overmuch compression. Thanks.

In a .32-20 loaded with BP, a grease cookie would be overkill.   If you're using the standard 115 grain lead bullet with a single grease groove and if you're home made lube works in your other BP cartridges, it will work just fine in the .32WCF.   It will always shoot better with hard cast bullets.  Have fun.

Thanks Buck, I'm shooting 96g hardcast rnfp, probably has the same diameter grease ring.
