The guessers were wrong - I barely broke 100 today & the wind didn't blow so I got outside some after all. Sighted in the .45-70 & shot up some .44s then back inside to clean both rifles & reload the cartridges.

Did you find a head, I made I found out if the one on the 65 would work, no but I was pretty sure.  Brother works for Fex'X and could have shipped it cheap.
Didn't need a different head. They were able to fix it. Need ta get some gas ta test it out some.

I'll start a pot. Have to play at church this morning. Our pastor's mother passed away last week while the pastor was out of town at a church meeting. Service might be interesting this morning. Memorial and funeral on Tuesday.

65 and partly cloudy here.

MH is out of the RV area parked on a vacant pad. We did some work on it yesterday. Del, checked for spark on that generator. No spark. Cleaned two terminals on the coil with no improvement. Thinking the coil's shot.......... Roll Eyes Undecided

I made a second pot this morning for the late risers, namely me. Moose took Victoria to the park, while I slept in. We're having Eggs Rancheros, when Moose gets back from the grocery store. I didn't get much sleep last night. My checkup turned out fairly good. All my numbers were down from last year. It's a step in the right direction. It's hard to make a change in your diet, and eat everything that you ate when you were 25. The change is coming. Hopefully I will live for a few more years.

Well I made my first and most likely only trip to a Kohl's store last night, Rita always said there was nothing for me there, rode along cause I needed a book to read, don't even have them.   I'm banned from Kohl's anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter, only found one thing in the store I'd like to have and I ani't paying $129.98 for something that should cost $30, guess you put a Food Channel persons name on it and call it green friendly you can sell it to some Yuppie.

Felt way out of place anyway, wasn't anyone but Rita and me there that wern't yuppies.  They had a sign sayin' 'bout the some sort of award they got for being green friendly, kinda weird, same shopping area that the run off is causeing problems with a local creek, must heat the place with yuppie farts or something weird.

Kohl's is definitely yuppieville. I was in one once years old and was shocked by the prices. Haven't been in one since.

I was doin all the cookin fer the weekend an they thought I could use a certain gadget.  Ya put olive oil in it an pump it up an it sprays like PAM.  I jus pour it in the pan an slide it around as it heats up.  It were a nice thought but I don't see spendin 30 bucks on somethin like that.

G'day y'all,
Too spendy for me too. Yuppies can have it. Got a store about a mile from me. We do get periodic ads for $10 bucks off their stuff. Nothin' I can't live without. Agreed a Food Channel name adds about $30 too much.
Pampered Chef is another ripoff but they do make a good veggie slicer Roll Eyes
Rodeo's over Thank God ate enuf dust to last me awhile. Met a gal who I volunteered with and got an invite to go horseback riding next week.
Got another invite for the "after rodeo BBQ" this afternoon, usually serve prime rib...gunna grin an' bear that one Cheesy

Miz Letty, How do those folks disguise prime rib to look like BBQ? I guess that I am in the minority that doesn't like prime rib, it's either too rare or has too much fat on it.

Buck, ours is always red too...I don't eat prime very often it just has to have plenty of au jus and horseradish...I'll need a good day in the garden to get rid of the calories

Kohl’s has two near here. Don’t think I’ve been in either of ‘em.

Have some nice Pampered Chef items the wimmen got for free for throwin’ parties.

Cuttin’ boards come from BB ‘n B as did the digital kitchen scale I bought the fat lady. Always had a coupon, ain’t paid full price in there yet. The one I hit is in the same shoppin’ center one of the Kohl’s is in. Cross the street from the farmers market.

A lot of my stuff, the knives for example, I find online. A reasonable shippin’ ‘n handlin’ charge beats wastin’ the gas drivin’ thru people who don’t know where they’re goin’ or how to drive.

If it’s beef, I’ll figger out a way to fix 'n eat it. ‘Bout the same with pasta.

It got up to 103 today. Lot's of A/C time. The Moose made a trip to the Farmer's Mkt. this morning. SHe brought some black-eyed peas, okra, tomatoes, and peaches. I guess we're gonna have the peas, fried okra, sliced tomatoes, and a peach cobbler for dessert. The tri-tip cut is popular around your part of the country, Leo. We cook flank steak on ther grill for beef fajitas. A NY strip and sirloin steak are my favorite cuts of beef. The veggie supper will be a change of pace for our meals. We had take-out pizza for supper last night.

Kohl's was started in WI by the father of Herb Kohl, US Senator and owner of Milw Bucks. It hasn't been owned by the Kohl family in decades.

Was a goodbye to some of the friends I won't see 'til next year an' nice evenin' at that.
Hard to beat a NY & sirlion an' the flank "carne asada cut" for tacos.
Brought my salsa a couple evenings during last week & got some new customers.... even peddled a few containers the last couple days
