Does anyone know what range the Armi Spencers are sighted? I was shooting my Armi at 50 yards and they were hitting about 18 inches high with smokeless powder. I assume they are sighted for about 100 yards?

I haven't shot it at 100 yards yet so I don't know where it will impact.

What load are you you using " Type of powder & charge, Bullet weight and size. Might be a little more helpfully finding an answer. I think these rifles are only proofed not sighted by the factory.

I was shooting a 350 grn cast bullet (Lyman) with 9 grns Unique.

I have a Sharps carbine using 405 grns that hit close to where the Spencer hits at 50 yards. The Sharps is dead on at 200 yards.

What I have found is that if I try to duplicate the ballistics for the original load my carbine is about 8" high @ 100 yds.  If you are inclined to use our beloved rifle (carbine) for deer, a good side shot is to hold @ the bottom of the rib cage behind the front shoulder.
