Ho, peeps.

Temp is fantastic. Don't need the heat or the A/C. Tryin' ta mist a l'il.

Took the fat lady out ta pick up some items for the house. Tex talkin' 'bout Sonic got to me. Hit the one in Lowes parkin' lot fer breakfast. Right nice. Very pleasant youngun on roller skates brought it out. Coffee was too hot to drink tho. Sat in the cup holder the whole time we was inside 'n ridin' back ta the house. Still hot. Gettin' fairly drinkable right now.

Arcey, Our Sonic just happens to be near my house. Mickey D's is too far away, BK is hard to get to, and Jack in the Box is downtown. I really like their chili dogs, the fritos pies, and Cherry Limeaide. The best fast food burgers in Texas are Whataburgers. They are a Texas francishe. It looks like Waffles and applewood bacon for breakfast with another pot O Cawffee.

'Tis 83. Minneapolis is 55, which is on the west side of the front. Still sunny but there are clouds in the west.

Del, we have a patch of rhubarb on the south side of the house that is at least 40 years old. Added horse apples to it this winter. I tried transplanting some of it a few years old but they didn't survive.  Sad

I need my own rain gauge, reports around town say a little over 1/2 inch.

Gonna run to the farm with my youngest and her husband, they want some iris, I want some rhubarb and some sparrow-grass.  Got a free one from one of Rita's co-workers the other day.  Nuther one popped up in my corn patch.  Should be some still floatin' around the farm from Grandma's patch.  Free is good.

There should be some of that old time green stemmed pie plant (ruhbarb.)  There also.  I want a few plants of that strain.  My just buy some of one of the newer hybrids for most of the crop.

Had right at 1/2 inch on my gauge this morning.  Already made a couple rhubarb pies from the plant in the hard - was a big hot at the potluck last day of school. Got the first radishes this morning & the tomatoes are starting to flower. Looks like the cabbage might do OK.

I'm glad to hear that the vegetable raisin' is doing well. The Waffles and Bacon turned out good. It's up 85 right now, it should be at least 90 or more for a high. I am planning on Burgers on the grill on the patio tonight. I am glad the A/C and ceiling fan is working good. The heat and humidity are rising fast today.

Angel can be trained by Lil to dump in that end of her walkie talkie in the lake lake full of goose poo if it gets too annoyin'  ......Got to 84 but just the fans necessary, humidity is pretty low at 12 %.
Went across the parkin' lot for some pizza...cloud cover is pretty neat with the upcoming eclipse.

Del, That's a neat picture. The burgers turned out great. The baked beans and potato salad wre good also. It's still 72 outside. We don't have any rain forcast in the near future. The yards are gonna need watering if the heat and humidity keeps up.

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. I couldn't sleep last night. I didn't go to bed till about 0330. It made for a short night. I fixed myself some toast and cereal for breakfast this morning. The temp stayed around 70 all night and the humidity stayed high as well.  I gotta run some errands this morning. I'll be back in a couple of hours and enjoying the A/C and ceiling fan.

I was glad to hear that M G was headed home. I met him one time at the Fort when I was visiting with Del and Terry. Thank you for your service M G.  Arcey, The parents have a lasting momento of their son. It was a wonderful project, I would have enjoyed turning a wrench on that truck. It's up to 89 and that's gonna be the high for today. Leo, I'm glad to know that Victoria has her own holiday in addition to her birthday. We had fish and chicken from LJS for lunch. No clue for supper.

Got  into the mid 80's here. I dozed off in my chair this afternoon and woke up feeling like a dishrag Roll Eyes Undecided

I had to repair my good mouthpiece last night. At the first cemetary,I dropped it and dinged up the end that goes in the receiver. Wouldn't seat all the way after that. Luckily I had a back up in the case. Not my first choice to use, but it worked. Had to take the file on my multi-tool to the good one and smooth the end/edge off......carefully Roll Eyes

Miz Letty, I would like to have some of that 12 percent humidity around here. The panhandle and far west texas(el paso) are the only places that don't have real high humidity. Moose is gonna bring us home some take-out for supper tonight.
