The Cawffee is ready for the early risers this morning. Moose brought home some Chinese take-out for supper. Not bad for a change of pace. I got the kitchen cleaned up early this morning. No dirty dishes in the sink. I'm enjoying a good cup of Cawfee and glad I got the kitchen cleaned up early. The girls are still asleep. It got down to 70 last night, still a lot of humidity.I just finished the first of back to back Westerns starring Gene Autry. the second one is just starting.

Big news around here, primaries were yesterday, 3 main R's, a state senator lady rancher from The Sandhills, AG and the treasure to replace Ben the traitor in the Senate.  AG and T spent all their money telling us what a low life each other were.  Rancher lady spent hers telling and very little, what she has done and want's to do, not what she will do.  Lady wasn't expected to win.  Well guess what happened? Our primaries are on the 29th of May. I voted Monday on the first day of early voting.  The temp is up 80 and it's gonna be another humid afternoon. I made sausage biscuits for breakfast this morning with some Red Plum jam on the biscuits. I think I'll get some Tex-Mex take out for a late lunch.

Leo, Victoria likes to help water the plants with the Moose. She likes for both of us to stay outside with her on the patio. It's too hot to be out there right now. Victoria is lying on the floor of the hall bathroom, on the cool ceramic tiles. Supper is a big question mark.

First corn plat is up, it wasn't there this morning and when I got home it was there.  Finally got cukes to come up, second planting of beets is also.  Going to plant some more radishes later.  Lady at work didn't get hers in and gave me her seed.  Some old variety called Sparkler.

I fixed a fritos pie and a salad for lunch. It was good and fillin'. It's 87 right now, it might make 90 by 1700. It's too hot outside. The A/C is keeping Victoria and I cool, calm, and collected this afternoon. Still no clue for Supper. Pickin's is purdy slim in the freezer. I see a grocery run in the future.

Keep your dang frost. Shocked  I would be really upset at this time.

Tried something, my collards that came were all bunched up, needed thined but if I did would not have very many.  So I dug them all up moved them and spread them out.  I'll see if that works.  Been doing some looking, any collards I ever bought the seed for simply said collards.  Been looking at some seeds on line for next year, may get more specific and get some specific type.

It's good that you can do that for them Buck, most nowadays used taped versions, doesn't have the same effect as a real bugle.

Coffee's ready!

All y'all have a good day.

Hey Arcey, I saw on the news this morning where they re-released NX.

Don’t have the same spirit ‘n feel when the guns er fired then someone pushes ‘play’ onna boom box. Thanks for doin’ it fer ‘em, Buck.

Moanin’……

Took the fat lady ta the Mexican hole yestitty evenin'. Reckon I should say she took me. The Solara was already wet ‘n it was still rainin’.

Was watchin’ yestitty mornin’ when they took ‘er out the flight enclosure, cuz. Werries me she didn’t try’n get away from ‘em. Miranda just walked up ta the perch ‘n grabbed ‘er feet. She decided ta fight after that so I reckon that part was good. Ennyways, win, lose er draw she’s free ‘n it’s, as in life, is up to her again. Maybe she'll stay out the road 'n find sumthin' dead ta eat inna field instead. The area they cut ‘er loose is 40 er 50 miles from Ali’s place.

Headin’ ta the shop inna short fer a l’il paper punchin’. Make sure the two old Smiths I werked on still shoot. T’would be embarrassin’ ta get on the first point next Thursday, have the clock go off ‘n the things make a ‘click’ ‘stead of a ‘bang’.

Back years ago when he was in HS the neighbor kid did that, he's a Marine now.  Anyway I came home from the hospital after a surgery, was layin' on the couch with the windows open and in a bit of a drug fog.  I know he meant nothin' by it, we laughed about it later, but why was then when he had to practice.
