Then again I'd bet that be just might a "Manufacture's" part for a stated bore.....

Check with Wes Flowers (West Fargo) at Cochise, AZ or Lonnie at Run-N-Iron in Bertrand, NE.
Both have websites with their contact info. Bing or Google them.
Heck, maybe one of them has a take-off barrel laying around.

EDIT---I just remembered that one of my Pards swapped out a blue 7.5" SBK barrel back in our silhouette days. He installed a heavy 15" barrel. He just might have the original one yet. I'll see if I can reach him.
STAY TUNED!

Doesn't Ruger do this sort of thing for a reasonable price?

Unfortunately no, Ruger won't do anything that the gun didn't originally come with. My wish is to put a 7 1/2" barrel on a 50th Anniversary .44 Magnum. (I just like the longer barrel.) That leaves me looking for a Super Blackhawk barrel.

Every so often, Gunpartsco seems to get spare barrels.
Good Luck.

I can't reach him. But then I'm still in Kandahar.
I sent an email out for his brother to ask him if he still had the takeoff barrel.
No response yet.

Another source might be Larry Crow he does Ruger work.
I don't have his contact info here. Google search Larry+Crow+pistolsmith+Missouri+Cyclone
There's Ron Powers too.
