Getting Ready for Wild Bunch
« on: April 10, 2012, 03:52:57 PM »
! am finally getting ready.  I already had three 1911s of which two would be OK for Traditional and the third for Modern.  I am having one of the memebers of my local club who does leather work make me a holster and two magazine pouches.  I won't be able to make it to the California WB championship, but for sure next year and I am looking to shooting Wild Bunch.   ;D

Welcome aboard!!!

Wild Bunch has taught me a lot about shooting that I didn't know.  It is demanding and both the shooter and the guns have to be in good condition for a successful run.

Have you gotten a '97 yet?

Hope to see you at a match someday!

All the best.

I have two 97s.  One made in late 1918 and the other made in early 1919.  Both are 12GA and the serial numbers are only about 3,000 apart.  I have used them both for my regular CAS and like the way they shoot.
