Give the man a cigar.  Sorry, I had to.

Fried chicken is almost up, house smells great.  They should just bottle that scent and be done with it.

Well, just damn............

Been goin' easy werkin' on smoothin' out the 28's trigger. Ain't done one in a long, long time. Grooves are gone 'n the edges were radiused down ta a bit rounder with the rough stone. Went back o'er it with the finer stone 'n did a touch more roundin'. Went after it with a rubberized emery wheel ta start the shiny. Got ta polishin' on it with the cloth wheel 'n compound. Dremel's gettin' old 'n she's gettin' hot real quick. Put it down 'n dropped it. Bent the mandrel fer the cloth wheels. Still mostly straight so I stuck a cut-off wheel in there 'n cut the bent part away. Went back ta polishin' 'til she got hot again. Come back 'bout an hour later 'n started again. The Dremel started smokin' then it seized. Hit the switch ta kill it 'n it kept hummin'. Threw it on the floor 'n it quit.

Oh well. There's a couple three tiny nicks I'd like ta buff out. Gotta look close ta see 'em, too fine to feel. Otherwise the thing looks like mirror. Thinkin' the S&W spirits done told me ta quit messin' with it....

Time for a new tool, Arcey Roll Eyes

Susie's back home. Passed her tests, so for the time being she's in the clear. Follow up with our GP in a few days. She said the chem stress test was a bear. Plus the MRI wasn't her cup of tea, claustrophobic. Wink

Ah the Dremel.  Was cuttin a 6 inch piece of sewer line with one cause it was all that would fit in the trench.  Fergot the rule to let the tool do the work and leaned inta it (impatient boss was over ma shoulder).  Thing shot fire an I chucked it as far as the cord would let it go.  It lay there on the ground hummin an fillin the air with a not so pleasant aroma.  Boss saw it all happen an bought me a new one.

Cold southern fried chicken with a gob a ranch ta dip in fer lunch.  Some food don't need ta be hot.
