Carl Gustaf Swedish Rolling Block SporterThis is a very rare Garl Gustaf rolling block sporting rifle in 12.7 X 44R. Think Swedish M96 Mauser and you know what kind of quality we are talking about. Both Carl Gustaf and Husqvarna built military rolling blocks, but only Husqvarna built lots of commercial and sporting guns later on. Carl Gustaf only built a few thousand of these before focusing solely on new generation military rifles. NOTE: This IS NOT a converted military rolling block. This rifle has over 70% blue, a very good bore, and good Walnut stock and forend. Its 30.5'' barrel has a bright shiny bore with very sharp rifling. Bright finish receiver is marked only with a C on the left side and is fasceted on top and sides. The barrel is octagonal near the receiver with sporting folding two leaf rear sight much like a Model 94 Winchester express sight. It was mounted forward of a filled dovetail from the original rear sight by a Svinsk Bjubba [Swedish Bubba]. The action works well and is tight and crisp. Shipped to your door for $800.
