I've been mowing my yards for a month. It needs it again, either today or tomorrow. I've got an appointment on Thurs. for an eye exam. New specks are greatly needed. I need to rustle up some grub this morning.

It's already 65 here, with a high of 81. No wind but lots of sun. The yards definitely need mowing this week. Breakfast was oatmeal and toast. Victoria is taking her morning nap.

501 Bar, there at 501 West A, about a mile from our house. Cash only, no food taken out, you have to buy a drink and no one under 21.
I guess it's a biker bar and busy on weekends.

Doubt it. The cops stopped by last night, was just checking to see if everything was OK. Bar lady said things were fine and they left. Some guy at the bar asked her about that, she said they do stop by once in a while, but she said the few times there has been trouble the regulars have it under control before the cops get there.
Most bikers are just regular working guys with a bike hobby, probably sold boots to a lot of them there, seen a couple of guys last night I recognized from work, they said hi. I figure if I rode a Kowawacky Ninja in there and went in and said it smells like hogs in here I'd most likely be asked to leave as they were tossing me out, other wise I don't worry about it. Not going to be a weekend place, just because it might be too busy to find a table.

Our breakfast nook is not over the basement, there is just a space under it. There is a vent there, so I notice this today, a garter snake went in, filled his belly on something and was now to big to go back through, got trapped and suffocated. Now I have to go get some pliers and remove it. What a dumb snake.

It's a shame he was so dumb, if he'd just waited awhile he woulda fit through that hole again. Whatever he found to eat under there, I'd rather have it in a snakes belly than runnin' around under the house.

The Cawfee is ready this morning! Strong and Black! On the subject of Manure, I've noticed they are selling bags marked as Steer Manure. How do they know that it's steer manure? Do they have some guy walking behind some steers, picking up droppings?
