Houston is about 300 miles south on I-45 and San Antonio is about 300 miles south on I-35. The sun came out and the rain has stopped for a while. I couldn't find any roof damage, I lost a couple of limbs in the front yard as well.

More rain forcast for tonight and tomorrow. A cool front came through and dropped the temp. to the 50s. We had some Irish stew tonight with cornbread for supper. The cool front will move on tonight and tomorrow will be hotter.

Mostly cloudy. 58° ‘n 93%. Hazardous Weather Outlook Scattered showers and thunderstorms before 9am, then a slight chance of showers between 9am and 2pm, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Areas of fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 76°. South wind between 3 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Buck, I've already mowed my yards 5 times so far this year, the 5th time was this morning. I had a bowl of Beef Stew for lunch, the Irish stew with cabbage, potatoes, onions, and carrots is left for tomorrow. We're going to a special showing of "Casablanca", the 70th Anniversary, at a local theater. We will eat supper afterward somewhere. This will be a belated Anniversary celebration of our Anniversary last week.

When the weather gets nice they show all the old movies in the park across the road. You just bring a blanket and a picnic basket, makes for a nice date. I think they did Casablanca last summer. We plan on going alot this year.

Evenin folks,
That Irish Stew sounds good TLD. Especially with some nice hot cornbread.
Arcey from reading the local rag it looks like your Mayor is going to try to shove the Choo Choo down the VB voter's throats so he can come to Norfolk to visit the new attraction our Mayor is trying to shove down ours. Don't ya just love politicians!
Been working hard getting the old homestead ready to sell, Had the movers in to move most of the excess furniture to storage so we can make it look nice and purdy like the stager lady from the Real Estate office wants. By the way if aint said it here before, "I hate painting".

No..........
It's a no lose for Sessoms, et al. If a referendum passes the "leaders" will say it's a mandate from the masses. If it doesn't they'll ignore it like they did the 31st St. project referendum. That latter was under dear Meyera. Hope Sessoms remembers what happened to her....

Mornin all
Coffee's up!
Not rainin so looks to be a fine mornin to head into werk and not see the light of day until I get off.
Unfortunately polyticians have very short memories when it comes to consequences. He'll build the dang Choo Choo an if it works tell the voters how brilliant he is, if it fails it will be because something the other party did to hamper it's success.
Is your SIL hung up over at Wallops with all the delays?
I see VB police finally taught this dummy not to play with pretend weapons when dealing with the law.

Dunno, cuz. ‘Less he offers I don’t ask.
Mornin’.
Mostly cloudy. 64° ‘n 90%. Hazardous Weather Outlook A slight chance of showers before 10am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 78°. South wind between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Much the same fer the radar trap otherwise known as Waverly. They gotta dense fog advisory but that should burn off ‘fore I get there. Shower up ‘n get outta here after the fat lady leaves fer school. I be’s ready ta give the Glocks a day off, grab a Smith er three ‘n do the OFSDAR thing!
Feel for duh beach guys. 'Member when one of our guys killed a guy what pointed an empty pellet gun at 'im. Like ta've destroyed the boy. Only one explanation for it, they wanna die - suicide by cop. Took this POS two tries.

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. It's 52 and rainy this morning. A good day to stay inside. Victoria is taking a nap and I'm watching the Westerns channel. Yvonne De Carlo looked a lot like Catherine Zeta-Jones when she was younger.
