Re-chambering a .38 Special Laramie to .44Russian/Special, or .44-40??

 I know this subject came up a few years back and wondered if anyone had actually gone through with the re-chambering, & if so are they pleased with how it turned out? Also, who did the work, length of time from sending in to receiving it back, and what were the cost's associated with it?
