I decided to make a quick mount bracket and a storage system for all my reloading presses.

I wrote an article about it with a bunch of pictures and put it on my web site.

Great idea! The use of a Toggle Clamp makes changing presses a snap. I visited your website. You did an excellent job of writing the article and taking the pictures.

I had a long night of reloading last night. One press was set up for Cowboy45, one press for 45LC and a third with a LEE Sizing die. It was such a pleasure to simply swap them in and out as needed without having to unbolt them everytime I wanted to make a change.........

I bought one from Lee for my progressive presses over a year ago. They work great.

I made a bit different 'quick disconnect' ....

Years ago I made a Woodworker's Workbench from one of 'St Norm's' woodworking plans (i.e New Yankee Workshop).

Every time I got a new tool I would throughbolt it to a piece of varnished plywood with vertical dados on it ...

When I needed to use the tool I would put it on the woodworking bench, and clamp it in with the square dogs built into the table.

For the reloading tool (an old RCBS single press), I glued 1 1/4" and 3/4" plywood until I got a piece about 3" thick ...and then squared it up and put those vertical dadoes on it.

The last thing was to drill out the holes used to secure the press.  I then used a Forstner bit to relieve the bottom side about 3/16" . deep.. this allowed nuts to be put onto the ends of the bolts without scratching up the table

Thanks for the post. The timing was just right as I was working on my new bench and was trying to figure out how to mount the presses. Took your idea and another one I saw when I googled reloading bench plans and merged them into my own. Since all my extra $$ has been going into building this new shop, I don't (yet) have a welder, so I had to improvise.

Cut 3/4 plywood at 30* on table saw and mounted all 3 presses and powder measure on separate pieces. Using your description of the clamp, went online and ordered me one of each (4 types) to see which one worked best. Works like a charm. The key is cutting the mounting boards so they fit tight when you slide them in. The toggle press makes everything rock solid.

So far I have reloaded about 500 rounds and everything works great. I mounted the other presses underneath when not in use by screwing plywood down to hold them.
