Thanks for the coffee, Del.
Our usual around here is Eight O'Clock columbian. Good stuff. Can be had already ground or in bean form. I prefer the bean form, seems to taste just a hair better fresh ground.
38 and semi-dark here, believe they're calling for rain today...................

Thanks for the Cawfee this morning. I ate too much BBQ last night and didn't sleep well last night. The Cawfee is good and strong this morning. I got Moose off to school this morning, breakfast is planned for later. It's 52 and cloudy. We are forecast for rain over the weekend.

Find a store coffee store that sells medium roast Brazilian and most times you can get it for half the price, can buy a lot of peppermint sticks with that.
ARIOSA Coffee,=Arbuckles Rio South America.
The bread is still in the bowl, so I'll have coffee before I deal with it. Got garlic to peel later, nuther project. Rita wants me to run to Sum Mart, they have boneless chicken teats on sale. I guess I'm gettin' old, I forgot about it. Besides why risk freezer burn, we had chicken last weekend.
Oh and for Arcey and his trip:

Mornin. Just gettin at the Cawfee.
Fer all ya crock fans, I run across a recipe that I really liked cause it didn't have no measurments in it. You'd think the gal what wrote it knew me personal like. Any how, slice a whole onion an a whole bell (I used a red), put half of both in the bottom a the pot, lay in a couple boneless pig chops, then put the other half of the onions an pepper on top. Then ya dump a bunch a brown sugar (I only had a little in the cupboard so I added some pancake syrup) on it an cover it with ketchup. Low heat all day an ya got somethin good. Rice would be good with it but I weren't up ta the task, ate it outta a bowl like a stew.
Bout 36 an clear skies, dog went back ta bed an I made oat meal ta cut the chill.

The Winter Storm Watch has been canceled on this end of the state - now its a Blizzard Watch in effect through Saturday afternoon. Been wondering if we were going to get a winter - 'spectin' 6 to 12 inches of snow - the moisture will be welcome, but I'd prefer it didn't pile up so high. With the 30 mph wind their predictin' the drifts will get high around my house - may be stayin' home for a while.

I hate to hear about you folks in Nebraska getting the Blizzard over the weekend. It's up to 60 and sunny now. Victoria is lying on the patio, enjoying the sun. I had cereal and toast for breakfast. Late lunch of unkown origin to follow.

Off to get chicken, she reminded me.
Guess it's fried fowl tonight, the 20 boneless pork chops are in the freezer, about 3/4 pound each.

Leo, The finished product still looks good. I wouldn't mind having that for supper as well as breakfast. We've got leftover tortilla soup and a pot of pinto beans for supper. Both sound good. I'm still full from the BBQ last night. It's cloudy and 70 right now.
