Now I know that I am old ...

I used to strip one of those in Army ROTC in high school ... no decilnation or Range of Fire on the plain tripod on ours, but it does bring back memories ...

In fact, I am guessing that I am the only one on this website (or one of  a very few at most) that did his PT as 2 1/2 hrs a week of close order drill with a US M1A1 rifle ...

TTFN,
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Ah yesssss.......

But look closely at that tripod, It ain't what you would be used to (unless you fought for the Germans).
