A Name Change
« on: August 27, 2005, 09:28:41 AM »
Now that I am relocatin' & pretty much have already changed my image, I figure it might be time for a name (aka) change as well.  Whatta y'all think of The Concho Kid?  Bein' the Concho River in San Angelo & all. 8)

I looked around on some other forums & couldn't find anyone with that name, so I thought I would use it.  Now, if in the future someone shows up & says that's his name & can prove he had it before me, well then we can discuss it like mature adults!

Well don't that beat all . . . I got into town and done seen how this here Concho Kid had rode down the line and left his mark on all these posts . . . was thinkin' to ma self "Is this the 'New Badlands Walker' - does ol' Badlands have some competition as far as gittin' around?" . . . and lo' and behold read this here post with details in full and it turns out they is one-in-the-same!

I like it . . . of course you'll have to get your rig all decked out in conchos  ;)!  I am reminded of alias Smith 'n' Jones

 :D!

This is true WW, but I figured since my oil change, relocatin' & all, and the fact that the outlaw thing doesn't appeal to me any longer, it was time for a change.  The name will complete that change! ;) :D

hogshooter,

Much obliged there pard.  Guess that settles it then.  From now on it'll be... "The Concho Kid".

Piney Woods listing of known SASS aliases shows the following:
Concho - 16
Concho Hondo - 20118
Concho Ike - 35920
Concho Viejo - 34224

There is no Concho Kid among them.  Looks like a keeper!
