Well it looks like my hopes of shootin this year just went up in smoke.
Just got the news my cancer is back again for 4th time. So will have to put off buying any guns for shootin.
Have no idea what the medicare will cover so may need the money to pay bills.

guess i'll be a spectator for as long as I can.

As a cancer survivor myself, and with two friends currently battling it as well, you have my heartfelt prayers.

The only prayer I was able to make on my own behalf was - "Lord, I've had a good life. Cure me or kill me. I'm OK with either."

I wasn't being morbid, just acknowledging the reality that it could go either way. I'm still here, in part because I regarded it as a disease, not a death sentence.

Well I spoke to my doctor. It seems the only thing left for me is hormone therapy. It won't cure the cancer but will slow it down considerably at first.

So i made a decision. Being on a very tight budget I am going to look for a rifle and shotgun I can afford over the next month or so. I am going to do something I want to do while I can.....shoot!

 I like to watch those fly over shows of different states,they did Conneticut not to long ago,so many places in America i'd like to spend time in,the way things are we can't even get out of town!Wish ya the best. This is where i shoot~

I know what ya mean. Have traveled a lot when younger. Been to most of the states. Loved Texas and almost moved there when I was young. Now I'm stuck here in CT. Although I do make one trip a year out to western end of PA on my motorcycle. Almost moved out there about 3 years ago.

Thanks to a good pard on here I'll be picking up a shotgun this weekend. Should be able to afford a rossi 92 by next month. So should definitely be shooting this spring. All I need besides the rossi is some bp for the 51's and I'm set for now.

Will post photos of some of the shoots here in CT when they start.
