Did my fowl duty last night for the first time this year, had chicken breasts cooked in fungus soup in the crock pot.  Rita made some rice for it also.  The good part was the sourdough garlic bread with asiaga cheese on it, mighty fine.  Should be good on the chicken a while, ain't none left in the freezer and as long as she don't buy no more for a while..........

I just finished off my Pot O Cawfee, I don't feel like making another. Bro.WM, I hope you have fun eating and listening at the outing today. I still haven't heard anymore info on our A-26s arrival today. I need to check on options for supper tonight. The sun finally came out the temp. hasn't warmed up much. I talked to Del this morning before he went to work.

The Cawfee is ready for the early risers this morning. Sausage, Egg, and cheese burritos for breakfast, served at sun up. It's 50 outside right now and windy. I have descovered a new channel on my satellite dish. It is called HOT, They show a lot of the 50s westerns: Range Rider, Annie Oakley, Buffalo Bill Jr.,Judge Roy Bean, 24 Men, Shotgun Slade, U S Marshal, Adentures of Kit Carson, Stories of the Century, Bat Masterson, Jim Bowie, Yancey Derringer, Hawkeye, and Sheriff of Cochise County. They bring back a lot of fond memories.

Felt like Saturday yestitty without the games. The 24 hour thing it Daytona weren't much ta see 'n way too much ta watch. Wine 'n cheese sporty-car crowd'll be joinin' the Nationwide folks whinin' 'bout a cup driver bein' on the winnin' team. Did some gun stuff 'n listened ta comedy radio all day. Got sumore I could be doin' taday but I gotta get off this property fer awhile.....

That's a great find. Wish they had it on local TV.

'Tis 18 and overcast. Dusting over night. "A period of light snow in the morning...then a slight chance of freezing drizzle and light snow during the rest of the morning. Less than an inch of snow accumulation expected. Highs 33 to 38. South wind 5 to 10 mph."

Went lookin' fer birds 'n ended up in a nest of Hornets......... Super Hornets.

They been talkin' increased activity it Oceana with Fentress shut down fer repairs 'n upgrades. Caught some prop stuff doin' touch 'n goes last week but just few jets takin' off 'n disappearin'. They was one after 'nother taday, bankin' 'n turnin' east right over where I was. Reckon they coulda been flyin' out fer carrier operations/trainin' off the coast.

Sound of freedom's kinda loud.

It got up to almost 70 today. I put on a pot of beans about noon and they have been simmering. That TV channel with all the old programs is on a local feed from Dallas. They've also started showing the old original DRAGNET with Jack Webb and Ben Alexander. I haven't cooked beans in awhile, but they smell good.
