Got some boneless chops to go in my 'lectric dutch oven later, gonna toss in some cream of fungi soup in it.   Rita can bake some taters before I get home.

Bread is loafing in the pans, bowl is soaking in the sink, fed the starter up good and gonna do it again, by tomorrow I should be able to have 8 for the freezer.

It's up to a balmy 48, sunny and windy. I tried out my Waring Waffle maker for the first time, they could have turned out better. I don't think I got my batter thick enough for waffles. Victoria enjoyed her's. I've got some errands to run this afternoon. No clue for supper tonight. Leo, I'm glad that you made good use of the recipes.

A first today. Ones the dudes beside me shot the trolley cord down on his lane. He was one of three idiots sharin' the lane 'n the off brand piece they were shootin'. Usin' what else but zombie targets. They even managed ta hit 'em a few times.

While we were cold with the staff replacin' the cord 'n all, they got ta talkin' ta me 'n askin' what I was shootin'. When I finished I went out 'n sat in the lobby shootin' the bull with the folks. One of 'em come out 'n rented a G22.

Did appreciate the 40 short 'n weak stuff what come over on my lane. Son in law shoots his out in the woods 'n loses a lot of 'em. I try'n keep 'im stocked up.

Got boneless pork chops from a boneless pig in the 'lectric dutch oven.  Had to get the back-up one cause the main one has ham stuff still in it from the udder night.  Still some samwiches in there.  Got another one, rectangle thing, has a grill thing in it if you want to use it, can do some interesting things with it if you want.  Got a big 'lectric roaster that you can turn down on low and sorta crock pot itwill make about 8 quarts of soup if you want.

Tryin' somethin' different, instead of straight fungus soup I put half sour cream in it.

Del, That sounds purty good. Sour cream is good on a lot of things, especially baked taters. Miz Letty, You're making have a craving flung on me for CFS.   Del will tell how much I like his CFS. He always makes it at least once when we camp, cause it's my favorite. I grew up on CFS in the Texas Panhandle.

Miz Letty, My Dad did not like chicken, so we had beef or ham to eat. I had bacon and eggs most every day for breakfast. We usually had steaks cooked on an outdoor grill on the weekends. We had roast every Sunday. Pot roast and CFS are still my favorites. My wife hates fried eggs, so I have mine fried and she eats scrambled. It's good that I learned to cook when I was a teenager. I like to cook on my outdoor grill, usually steaks or fajitas.

A 20 inch one, Pitspiter gave it to me, someone had give it to him.

Got a stand for it now, one of the blacksmiths made it for me.  It's really great for cheese steaks, I have some good coals I can get it smokin' hot:

Note, one of the few times I've used charcoal, wet and not the best wood, charcoal is great for that skillet though.

4 more loaves of sinner-mon and dried grapes in the pans.  Got another batch started and the starter fed up.  Gonna have to get some more flour soon, went though almost 20 pounds the last week or two.  May have to get some more sinner-mon, I discovered the good stuff, the real stuff, ain't buy'n store run no more.  I Liz to go down to Jamesport Misery and hit the Amish store, gonna have to stop on the way to work and see the old hippies at the COOP place.  Prices there are decent for stuff like that, but the Amish sell the good sinner-mon for $3.50 a pound.

Folks that run it are real nice folks but I seem to scare the hell out of some of the Yuppies that shop there.  I've seen em peekin' around the aisles at me. Grin

Good Morning Folks!  The Cawfee is ready, Hot and Strong. I just let Victoria out after I got the Cawfee ready. It's 50 right now. The warm weather that we're having has got the grass fooled. The yards need to be mowed. A couple of pieces of Del's cinammon raisin bread would be good with the Cawfee this morning. Leo, I'm gonna make some more breakfast cassarole this weekend. I'm gonna use some Canadian Bacon instead of the sausage next time.

Leo
They are having mixed thoughts about that incoming rain.  We need it badly, but they are worrying about flash flooding and heavy erosion in the burned over areas.  Winds were down overnight, but are starting to pick up.  This area is just north of the stretch of Hwy 395 that regularly gets closed to “high profile vehicles” due to high winds.  Just hope they stay calm today!

Temp is at 45, and the wind (here on the NW side of Reno) are already up to about 15 MPH.  Hoping for the best for those folks just south of us.
