Where to get a good price on a pair of SAA's

I see prices all over the place on the auction sites.  Where is the best place to get a fair deal on Colt's?
I am looking for a pair of 45's with 4 3/4 barrels.

Your best bet is a site like www.gunbroker.com - that, or a 'good' gun show.

Don't forget to add things like FFL fees and shipping when you peruse the web sites.

If you do decide on an on-line purchase - look on gunbroker for ultona - Joel seems to get Colts fairly easily, and his prices are very fair - as several folks will attest.

It seems the custom shop is 24/7 with the 1911 commemorative pistols this years.

The supply stream of SAA pistols has really dried up the past year.  I think we're just going to have to wait until the Browning Mania subsides.

You might contact "Six Gun Shorty".   He's a SASS member and a dealer.  He's located in South Lake Tahoe.  I haven't personally done business with him but know that he has a good reputation.  He might . . . or might not have any.
