My new gun for Christmas - Pietta Remington 1858 - 44

Brand new out of the box.I think it will be very pleasant to shoot with.
I'm a very happy guy today  ;D

Looks great! I picked up a 5-1/2" version a couple of week ago and now I am in the process of buying an 8".... ;D!

Be Very Very careful with these Cap and Ball pistols...........they tend to multiply if left alone in a dark place!

I had a 1858, now I have two 1860s and a pair of 1851s on the way from Cabelas.............

Yep the do multiply, . . . I bought one . . . thunk I'd try out single action black powder shooting . . . . just one to "try it out a bit" . . .  ::)

Boy howdy you guys aren't kidding about them multiplying!

According to the UPS tracking site, my 8" New Army will be here tomorrow.....

Yesterday, my lovely bride presented me with a note saying that my Christmas/Birthday present is on back-order from Cabela's and will be here sometime during the first week of January.........Another 5-1/2" Pietta New Army..... ;D!!!!

I don't think there is much hope left for me now.....
