History's New Hatfields & McCoys Kevin Costner/Bill Braxton
« on: February 09, 2012, 10:09:02 PM »
Im looking forward to seeing the Kevin Costner, Bill Paxton Hatfields & McCoys mini series.

Some people are iffy on Kevin Costner and his acting but I like him and the fact that he will still do Westerns.

Yeah, I am not a big fan of all the "Reality" tv shows on. Just give me a good movie set in the 1800s and I'll be fine.

Too bad they couldn't find an actor instead of Costner.

He looks the part but his delivery is little tough to take at times. I think he provides some of the funding for these Western projects himself so he gets points for that. Not too many true "Western worthy" actors around anymore.  :(

Any one have an idea of when this is supposed to start, as I've not found anything on that for some reason?

Don't know, don't matter, my TV has a off switch for either, in fact we were discussing giving up cable the other day, one vote yes, one vote not sure and the dog really don't care.

Well at least he is still willing to make a western. Even if it means putting up his own money. Selleck seems to have abandoned the Western movies.

I don't know if you've noticed, Sellack is trying to help preserve our gun rights and does have a popular TV show, Costner wants to take ours away.

I think "Blue Bloods" will be on a long time. His Jesse Stone cop  TV movies are popular as well. Tom is a Patroit and Costner is part of the Hollywood anti-gun faction.
