Went to Carson City today Bob..
Soil sample is along side the RR tracks of the V & T Railroad (Virginia & Truckee) Museum.

Bob, I mailed you some yesterday, kept forgetting because it was in my workshop and I've been busy in the kitchen.

Utah Bob, That is a nice presentation to the VFW Post. That is a thoughtful rememberance for those who served and made the supreme sacifice for our country.

I have not been able to get to South Carolina.  I've just been too busy to make the trip even on the weekends.  Doesn't look as though it's going to let up any time soon either.  I'm sorry.  :(

I got a note also, later this year I may be able to get some Afgan dirt with out havin' ta worry about gettin' in trouble.  Got some Nebraska National Guard folks over there, Cav guys, the dirt may have a bit of felt from Cav Stetsons mixed in it, but gonna bring something to save it in.   ;)  Got the idea yesterday cleanin' a couple for the Cav Ball last night.  I'll have em pass the word that if they need their Stetsons cleaned to bring them in, most do anyway, don't cost those guys to get there hats serviced here. ;D

Thanks Rick but I consider cemetery sacrosanct and would prefer it stays where it is. Just home states is fine.

I managed to get some nice Afghan sand the other day but thanks.
Actually, the Vietnam dirt on the memorial came from my old boony hat. Good thing I never washed it. ;D

Just got back from the Post Office. No dirt today but I did receive the pair of WWII combat boots. They will make a great addition!
