Haven't seen a new year roll in in quite few - not since my heavy drinkin' days.  Fixed a stew & some biscuits fer supper & plan to be snorin' long before midnight.  I'll welcome the new year in the daylight or shortly before.  Hope you all have a good one.

Well I may make it now, just had a stiff one, Turkish Coffee. Grin  Gonna put the pizza leftovers away and start an experiment to finish in the morning, sourdough sinner-man raisin bread. Grin

Hey Stu, I still have that knife you forgot, almost got it dropped off to you last fall but it didn't work out.  Anyway, since I got that nice wood I'm going to put nicer handles on it and I'm hoping you make it to Jerry's place again.

I'm planning on it, & if you'll remind me I'll bring another old blade that could use a nicer handle, then you could find it a new home too.

Sounds good, I need to take a picture of the pile I have now, but always am looking for more.  Some are pretty worn, gonna put some plain on them and Liz that collects some of them for me is going to put them on her trade table and we'll use the money to improve the kitchen.  A lot of the muzzle loadin' guys like them well worn one.

The one I've got will fit right in on the trade table, & I'll never do anything with it.

I may get drunk just walking through the kitchen, all that brown sugar and the raisins mixed with the sourdough is really workin' good. Shocked

Well here is the pile of knives, steels and forks, a couple of corn knives in the pile, will just put oak on them:

Where there is wood taped on it's the wood already picked for the knife or steel.

My woodpile of walnut:

The piece in the back that's reddish a guy at work gave me, it's about 3X7X12 and has some clear finish in it, no idea why.  Need to take it and band saw it up, it's also black walnut, but is from Virginia.
