Well got what I needed this afternoon, went to an old hardware store across town, flies the ACE banner, main street of Havlock, now a part of Lincoln, building is over 100 years old, wood floors, got stuff so stuffed in there you can hardly move, great place, need to make a trip over with more money, lots of goodies no one else seems to have.

We had two hardware stores like that in Dumas, and then Walmart came to town. Both of them went out of business. Very sad. I don't know about supper, Moose is out foraging at the grocery store.

Had Columbia, yesterday, got some Panama just ready to be consumed.  (It's brown not red)  Ever notice the countries that produce good coffee seem to also produce good pot?  Friend of mine, a cop,  now retired figured that our years ago.  We were out deer hunting and comparing what we brought in our thermos. Grin

Headed downstairs to do some filling on the top of the bench, may paint the rest.  Bread still ain't dried out enough for me to make the dressing, oven on low.  Was surprised how much bread there was in the freezer.  Snow on the way, another 1 or so inches, almost here.

I'm up for another cup, it's chilly down there, got the drier going dryin' stuff from yesterday and have a small heater takin' the chill off.  Guess if I put on a sweat shirt and some socks it would be better.  The Panama coffee is good, always amazed me how different soil and location makes such a different.  Need to stop by the Yuppie roaster place and get me some Kenya again, my favorite, even if it is a bit pricey.

I buy that once in a while because small town grocery stores often carry it if I run low.  I buy Columbia Supremo with Member's Mark from Sam's, 2.5 pound bag, $14.99, it has a free trade mark on it also, don't mind big compainies making money, but I like to see the small farmer have a chance to do the same.  I think buy a 1/2 pound here and there of something that catches my eye shopping.  Always walk down the coffee aisle just to see, Super Saver had the Panama the other day, don't see it often and is pretty good stuff.
