Morning y'all.
Coffee is hot.

I'll be praying for you, Tex.

Went to the company Xmas party last night. Had a good time.

'Tis 34 and raining. "Light rain and sleet likely in the morning...then light rain in the afternoon. Nearly steady temperatures in the middle 30s. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph."

Hey All, Cawfee is goin down good this mornin, had egg in a winder.

Surveyin the wind damage on the news.  Lotta smashed vehicles out here an one poor fella got killed by a tree tryin ta save some condor chicks.  Seems ta be a lot calmer taday, time ta get the broom fer the deck.

Gonna trim the tree with popcorn an dried cranberrys, lets see how many times I can poke ma finger with the needle stringin em all.  I know in the end the cute little blonde will want lights too but it should be perty nice.

A wunnerful Wear Brown Shoes Day ta y'all.

Mostly cloudy, 43° 'n 93%. Mostly sunny, with a high near 64°. East wind between 5 and 7 mph.

Twas a slice yestitty. Good ta see the folks. Did lunch w/SB. Had someone's stray beagle wander inta the target array on the first bay. We figgered two handed, no shotgun Josey Wales wuz Josephine Wales. Didn't shoot werth squat. Rusty's all hell with the single action stuff. The Buntline's all neat 'n groovy fer messin'. Usin' the damned thing fer the rifle targets is a pain, it's a touch muzzle heavy. Gonna replace the bolt in the Old *itch 'n use two 7 ˝ s fer the rifle stuff next time. These days I'd ah done better with the G34 'n two mags of ten each. Damn.............. that'd be fun.

Did real well with the toy collection for the USMC's Toys for Tots program. I'm real proud 'n grateful ta the posse fer that.

Thanks for the Cawfee this morning. It's 41 and rainy this morning. My medication looks like one of those vitamin packs at 7-11. This antibiotic that I am taking is doing it's job. It is taking care of the infection in my right leg and the bladder. I am hoping that the infections are cleared up by the end of next week. You folks can keep your snow, I don't want any.

G'mornin' all y'all, thanks fer the cawfeee.  Seems most are relatively well, and glad to see that.

As fer you, TLD, I'll stand shoulder to shoulder with ya', Pard; been trodding down that same road for a while, now.  Was on Avandia, and then Actos for many years, changed to Januvia several years ago.  The bladder thing just keeps coming back, but the uro guy tells me all is well, that my system is just "challenged" due to the long term Diabetes.  I'm sure you are taking the best care you can; you are in my thoughts.

We got us some winter here in "Sin City".  No snow in the valley, yet, but it has frozen overnight for the past two or three nights, and is windy all the time; daytimes are only into the low fifties, and may not even get there for the next few days.  The plus to all of it is the super clear and very blue skies during the day, and the crisp starry heavens at night.  Around here, what with light pollution, metropolitan smog, and the usual dust in the air, our skies are often less than stellar; typical desert environment.

We are deep into the move to the new place, getting all of the necessary cleaning and detailing done before we put much furniture in; going to have the tile floors steam cleaned tomorrow, then we can get started getting our lives changed over to a new venue.  It's an exciting but frequently frustrating exercise, and we both are too broken to do much of the heavy lifting anymore; gotta hire somebody, or see if we can get the kids to find the time to help.  Just the putzing and going back and forth is tiring.

Later.

Don't sweat it Hairy, we paid kids for our last move.  We lost a few things along the way but it beat the heck out of lifting all the boxes and furniture, let the young ones do it and buy them a pizza and hand 'em a couple bucks.

Well, It's still raining outside and all my firewood is soaked, so fires in the fireplace. I've got vegetable beef stew going in the slow cooker for tonight, with lots of cornbread. I thank El Peludo for his encourgement. I've had my diabetes since 95. For some reason, I have dropped about 30 lbs. I have been eating more healthy and taking my medications. I plan on going to the Uroligst after Christmas. I know that diabetes creates other health related problems, especially kidney and bladder problems.
