Colt SAA 32-20 Q&A
« on: November 18, 2011, 01:44:19 AM »
I have a 1909 from what I've learned so far. All the serial numbers match(frame, trigger guard, bottom of handle) the second set of number under the trigger guard on the frame match the numbers on the gate. How else can I tell if this is all original? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You should be asking this over on the 'Colt' forum.

Are ther numbers on the cylinder as well?

Looks to be original, insofar as the numbers are concerned - as to the finish, better pictures are needed.

A lot of those 32-20's saw a lot of hunting, back in the day - the long barreled ones, especially.
