The pork come out good. Went ta pull it with two forks an it all slid off the bone. Crock pot is stayin out fer the duration. Gotta feelin I'll be usin it regular now that the temps gone down an Lil has a funky schedual. Like havin the house smell good all day ta boot an the dog aint complainin bout the bones. Sorry Webber, yer subbed out fer the season.

November............. Damn............... Mornin', folkes.
Mostly cloudy. 50° 'n 86%. Mostly sunny, with a high near 63°. Breezy, with a north wind between 14 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Had the prettiest rain o'er night.
Dumped Navy, Kidney, Black 'n Pintos along with some Black Eyes with cubed up chunks ah ham in the l'il red one yestitty. Come out right tolerable. It's all gone too.
Thinkin' on takin' the fat lady ta the mexican hole this evenin'. Doin' beans 'n franks w/smoked 'n peppered hog jowls tamarrah, an experiment.
Been tearin' the pork up with my fingers when it gets cool 'nuff ta handle. Problem I got is discipline. By the time I sit ta eat, I ain't hungry no more cuz I eat it while I'm werkin' on it......................

Thanks for the coffee, WM
34 and foggy.
Over night some miscreant tried to take Sue's inflatable off the deck. Got one side loose, but didn't get the rest. Figure they got antsy, or were interupted. Pretty quiet, didn't set the dogs off. Gate to deck was left open/ajar. Deck is on other side of the wall in our bedroom/bath. Bet Susie takes it down today for sure

Hey All.
Can't do the pork with ma fingers cause I tear it up afore I drain it an then sauce it. Leave it back goin for another hour. I went ta pick a bite after I shreaded it an burned my fingers right good. Guess thats a good way ta make sure it all makes it ta the table.
Bout 42 on the deck an sunny.

Thanks for the Cawfee Bro. WM. Leo, I like to put that pulled pork on a bun with sauce, sweet onion slices, and relish or on a flour tortilla with some pico. We had sausage, egg and cheese biscuits for breakfast. No clue for lunch.

Hey, I'm in here early enough for some fresh mud rather than the dredges; thanks.
A fine and dandy "All Saints Day". November already! Holy smokes!! Got a couple of special things goin' on this month, this year, one, my Brides birthday happens every year, but the other is our youngest is getting hitched, again, on 11-11-11; couldn't get an 11AM time, but six ones is plenty I s'pose; they have a "thing" about the number one. Hope it sticks this time; his Bride is a whole different rodeo from the first one, and we do like her without any reservations. In the process, we gain three more grandkids, a bargain at half the price.
I guess I prevaricated last evening. I had planned to "dark" the house and play like no one was home, but the boss stayed out a bit later than we had planned, so I left all the lights on waiting for her to get home, and I got whomped and swamped with beggars. There were a few kids from the immediate neighborhood, but what disturbed me was the couple of bunches that showed up in those big commuter vans; one mob I counted at near two dozen, and they definitely were not from our neighborhood; I know, or at least am familiar with most of the kids hereabouts, and I doubt there are that many kids that age in the whole square mile that comprises it.
A cute story for the day:
It was Halloween, and the kids were all out in costume and having a great time. Young Becky was walking past a dark and sort of scary house with all sorts of bushes and trees in the dark spooky yard, when that mean Jimmy jumped out from a bush and shouted "BOOOOO!". Becky squealed and screamed, and said "Jimmy!!! You almost scared my pants off." Jimmy looked at her with a glint in his eye and said " I did!?!? Well, BOOOOO, BOOOOOO, BOOOOOOOOO, BOOOOOOOOOOO, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Later.

Pity on the landscape guy. Out bright an early ta blow the yard a leaves. Looked good fer bout 5 minutes then the north wind kicked up. He blew it again an then the north wind really kicked up. I ain't never seen so much frustration on a man's face. Asked him if'n he thought controlin the weather was part a his contract. He decided no an packed up an moved on.

Trees can sometimes be so frustrating, Leo. I've got one here that waits until the whistle blows before it drops'em. lot of times it's after the first good snow
They're little suckers, too. that's the tree that don't like me........Buck

Buck, we got a bunch of trees that don't like the scaper. Guess he shouldn't have blown the leaves off a Lil's autumn display, the woman worked hard on that.
Sketty fer supper, finished the pork fer lunch.

Good Morning Folks! You can keep that white stuff and cold temps, I like my weather around here. Big things happening this week around Fort Worth, Nascar and all the celebrations that go along with that. I am staying put around the house and watching it on TV.
